Today in class we started a movie called guns, germs, and steel. This movie is about Jared Diamond and why some countries are so more advanced than others. He originally studied birds and would make routine trip to New Guinea to watch birds. He also wants to find out how the New Guineans live their life with so little. He talked with one of the New Guineans and he asked why he had so much "cargo" Cargo in their terms mean materials. The New Guineans knew exactly how to survive in their environment. We then talked about how they weren't dumb compared to well developed country but they were smart in their own environment.
